Course Details
- This course, originally delivered as a live online event, is relevant to veterinary nurses who would like to develop their confidence and learn to manage the typical day to day stresses that we experience in everyday veterinary practice more effectively.
- You will be presented with a course module followed by an assessment.
- If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a printable certificate. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident.
Aims
The sessions within this course cover the psychology of the various types of confidence, as well as looking at things that undermine our confidence in the first place, as it is essential that we understand and tackle those if we hope to build genuine confidence, instead of papering over the cracks. The ways that we can be affected by stress will also be covered and we'll explore the subject of resilience, clarifying what it is and how we can develop it.
