Course Details
- This course is relevant to anyone who wishes, or has been asked, to become the team leader of their front of house team. This can be exciting but daunting – but we know you can do it! However, you do need to know a few things to make sure that you get off to a good start, as managing all the things that you need to think about, organise, and do whilst still serving clients and running around after the vets can be tricky.
- You will be presented with a course module followed by an assessment.
- If you achieve 80% or more, you pass the course and will receive a printable certificate. If you do not pass, you will have the opportunity to review the content and retake the assessment when you feel confident.
Aims
This course aims to help those new to reception management and equip them with the necessary skills to be able to perform the role. This includes creating rotas, managing the diaries on the practice management system, being on top of IT, client communication, literature, resolving the cashing-up issues, and last but certainly not least, managing your colleagues.
Objectives
During this course learners will be able to:
- Run the front-of-house team.
- Understand the most effective ways to interact with colleagues.
- Implement the team rota.
- Organise the PMS appointments schedule.
